---This is the home site for the University of Utah department of Genetics.  It offers information on the professors who wrote this book.   It also gives general information.

Human Genome Project Information

---This site is the official government site of the Human Genome Project.  It gives information on the project and has links to various other sites that talk about the project.

OMIM Home Page -- Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man

---This is a great site for genetics students.   It offers a search for all of the known genetic diseases.  Information about the clinical aspects of the disease as well as the genetic location of the disease is given along with several links to articles written about the disease.

The GeneLetter

---The gene letter is an electronic publication about genetics and public policy.  It has regular columns about genetic issues along with a great genetics links page.

National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI)

---This is the official site of the NHGRI, one on the divisions of the National Institute of Health. It gives information on the Human Genome Project.  Researchers can learn about receiving grants for work on this project at this site.  Also, you can find information on genetic diseases, ethical, legal, and social issues at this site.
